
A foreign national who has been granted temporary permission to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand and remains in the country for more than 90 days is required to report their residential address to the Immigration Office every 90 days. If there is an Immigration Office located in the area of residence, the report may be made to the immigration officer at that office.
This requirement is in accordance with Section 37(5) of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979).
Methods of Notification
- The foreign national reports in person.
- The foreign national authorizes another person to submit the notification on their behalf.
- The foreign national submits the notification by registered mail.
- The foreign national submits the notification via the online system.
Important Notes
– Foreign nationals may submit the address notification within 15 days before or within 7 days after the due date.
– If the notification is submitted after the allowed period, the foreign national must report in person to proceed with the fine settlement.
– In case of late notification, the foreign national will be subject to a fine of 2,000 THB.
– If a foreign national leaves Thailand before the next scheduled reporting date, upon re-entry into the Kingdom, the next 90-day report must be made 90 days from the date of the most recent entry into Thailand.
